Course overview

This 4 week course is specifically designed for you and your Bull Breed. It is aimed at supporting you in adhering to the new legislation and the implications this may have for you and your dog, as well as looking at the specific behavioural challenges you may face as a Bully owner.

Over the next 4 weeks you and your dog will:

• Learn about the relevant legislation that may impact you and how this may affect your dog’s wellbeing.
• Form a positive association with a muzzle (if they haven’t already)
• Learn about learning theory and the importance of positive reinforcement.
• Understand how arousal can lead to an “out of control” dog and how to promote calm and work on impulse control.
• Learn how to provide extra mental stimulation and environmental enrichment.
• Work on skills including walking nicely on the lead, focusing on you and “checking in”, greeting people calmly, leaving and dropping an object, waiting.
